Who is Sam Klein?
Hi, I'm Sam Klein! I am a 17 year old senior attending Cicero-North Syracuse High School. I am apart of an extremely close and loving family comprised of my mom, Errin, father, Rich, sister, Sarah, and dog, Buddy. I am an extremely hardworking and diligent student athlete who continuously puts their best foot forward in regards to any task given to them-whether that's homework, practice, managing a store, leading a group meeting, you name it! In the rare free time I have, I enjoy spending it outside hiking, writing, and of course spending way too much money on Starbucks and Target!

I am President of the school's Principal's Cabinet, an organization of students chosen by the school's administrative staff to make the school a more welcoming, inclusive and more exciting place to be! Some of the events we run include Spirit Weeks, an event called Mr. CNS, a parody to the Miss America pageant, as well as give input to various staff members in regards to areas such as the dress code and school fundraisers. A large fundraiser I personally planned this year was called the P.S. I Love You game in which both the boys and girls basketball teams wore purple t-shirts, played in a decorated gym, and help raise money to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Additionally, I am a student representative for the Board of Education's policy committee, an Executive Board Member in both National Honor Society, as well as Class of 2022!
Work
I work as a shift lead at Sweet Frog, a small self-serve frozen yogurt business, and have been for almost 2 years now. There I am in charge of making sure the store is clean, organized, and well taken care of at all times! I am in charge of opening and closing the store the days I am scheduled, and really enjoy my time working! I love interacting with the customers and especially being in charge of decorating the chalkboard!
My Favorite Part of Every Other Day As a first year Media Communications student in Mr. Farranto's class, I initially didn't know what to expect. I didn't have any friends in the class or much prior experience, however I eventually started doing the C-NS Morning Show with my favorite co-anchor, Abby Files, and it became the absolute best part of my day! Whether just by reading the daily announcements, doing funny skits, or making new amusing segments, this class has developed a love for learning and using the technology graciously granted the Keith W. Fengler Foundation! Attached are a few of my favorite episodes, as well as the link to the C-NS Morning Show YouTube
